Dino earned his Master of Science in Biomedical Communications from the University of Toronto in 1996. After graduation, he worked as a medical and scientific illustrator and animator producing visuals predominately for undergraduate textbook publications. Dino joined Artery Studios in 2003 to provide art direction and medical illustration leadership. His expertise lies in problem-solving, integration of technology into the workflow, and innovating visual solutions for the studio – including in the 3D arena.
His current publishing projects include creating illustrations of North American and Asian meat-eating dinosaurs and working on improving and revising his co-authored book The Dissection of Vertebrates.
